Project Numero Uno

There is something about being pregnant that puts me in the mood for projects and major "nesting." I wanted to get Toree into her new room and start the baby's room. Finally, after a few months of sanding, painting and sewing we finally have it completed.

An old yard sale dresser... $5
An old mirror off craigslist... $10
A toddler bed, another good craigslist find... $30
The cutest little girls room you've ever seen! ... priceless.
One happy little girl... even more priceless.
A little girl asleep in her new bed... precious.

Even tough Toree will take naps in her new bed, she still wants her crib at night. She just won't stay in long enough to fall asleep. Oh well, we still have a few months before we have to kick her out.

Look at YOU, crafty girl! Our baby's coming in less than 5 weeks and I still don't even HAVE a crib, a swing and so many other things. *SIGH* I'm sure you're way ahead of me on that one!

AMAZING! You had my idea in your head all along! :) Gosh, you want to come do it for me in about a month when we move? Do you have a garage to do all this in our did you do it in the house? That's my dilema...I don't think I should do these kinds of projects in our tiny apt! GREAT JOB...thanks for sharing before/after pics!

Toree is adorable! I think the room is so cute too and I love how you hung the mirror low so she can look in it. I bet she loves it :) Congrats on number 2 and good luck transitioning from the crib to the toddler bed!
