This weekend our cute little town celebrated Riverfest which was a lot of fun last year so of course we had to continue the tradition. Bad news is I forgot to charge my camera battery so these pictures are from the Riverfest website. I will try and get some more from a couple friends that had their cameras out but here are a couple for now. This one was the funniest in the parade. Toree really loved to watch all the animals and run for candy (ok I grabbed the candy, perks of being a mom).
They caught a couple shots of me running in the 10K race. There were mostly people running the 5K race (black numbers) and a few of us going 10K (red numbers). I did pretty good for my first 10K, considering I am not a runner at all. It was fun but don't expect see any longer races any time soon. 10K was enough for me!
And here is a short video of Toree finally starting to talk more. I have to really pull it out of her but she is catching on.
Other words that are semi-understandable include key (for blankie), dud (dog), yeah (for every other question asked).

You are totally awesome for running the 10K! YEAH for Toree for talking more - good job momma (and daddy)!
