Nobody's home

This month is different than the last few months. Lyndee and the kids have gone to Idaho for a couple weeks while Ryan does a month long rotation with University of Kansas down in Wichita. The trip to Idaho was sure a rough one, but Lyndee has had a really good time so far. She went to a wedding where she got to see lots of her family that she had not seen in a while. Ryan is having fun doing what he wants to do for the rest of his life which is putting people to sleep. He has been a little lonely, but is trying to stay busy with his studies.

This last week, Ryan submitted his application to some residency programs. The application process has pretty tedious thus far. Hopefully it will turn out the way we want. When Ryan submitted his med school application, we had no idea that we would end up in Kansas City. We are happy we did. When we moved out here to Kansas City, there was no temple. During the October 2008 General Conference, a temple was announced in Kansas City. We were really excited to hear that we would soon have a temple nearby. The temple is scheduled to open about the time that Ryan graduates and we can't imagine moving somewhere that does not have in town. We have really missed having one close. We are evaluating our options and where we would be willing to live for the next four years. We have been very blessed and we are confident that we will be happy where we go.

Come to Houston! They have an awesome medical center! And, I think you have some pretty awesome family that lives there too! Oh, and we have a temple!
