Broken bone #2

Some of you already know but last week Toree had a fall (I promise we love her!) off a tall cement stair/stage. Poor thing, we didn't realize it was broken until a little later in the day when I finally realized something was wrong because she didn't want to go outside. We just stayed inside and read books for almost 2 hours between her little whimpers. She kept saying her neck hurt. I felt so bad but we took her in when Ryan got home around 5.

Here is her xray. It looks worse than it is.


Coming home from the ER. She was a trooper and wants to go back to the doctor to get more juice and bear crackers (teddy grahams). They gave her this sling and said to keep her in it as much as possible for a couple weeks. Yeah right, she wore it maybe once more after this picture.


She seems to be healing fast though and is back to climbing and jumping on whatever she can find. No gymnastics class for 3 weeks though, doctors orders. She is sad about that one.
