Pray for those in Haiti

My nursing school is planning a Mission trip to Haiti in March and I am planning on going. This news just came in and I wanted to share with you. The more prayers the better.

Quake Rocks Haiti, Causing Widespread Damage

A powerful earthquake of 7.0 magnitude rocked Haiti just before 5 p.m. Eastern time, 10 miles southwest from the highly populated capital of Port-au-Prince, according to the United States Geological Survey, leveling a hospital and causing widespread damage and panic in the impoverished Caribbean country.

There were at least a dozen aftershocks — the worst two were 5.9 and 5.2 magnitude — that followed in the last hour, and more were expected, according to David Wald, a seismologist with the survey.

so terrible. the attorney I work for works with an orphanage in Haiti, and has adopted 2 children from there as well. Luckily the orphanage sustained little damage, and the children are all safe. But they are now prepping for more children and needing more resources, so we're trying to organize something to help them. And to think you'll be there in march when there is still so much to be done probably. so amazing.

{also, you always have an open invitation for any party of mine! plus, if you ever come into Utah and have enough time to hang out with me - i'll consider it a party that you're here! so it'll be an extra special party indeed.}
