Toree's first birthday happened to be during Ryan's spring break and we took a trip to the Lake of the Ozarks. We were going to have a fabulous week hiking and eating birthday cake but it ended up mostly just eating birthday cake. It rained a lot and we also decided to come home a day early to miss the blizzard that is headed our way. It was still fun and we managed to slip in some good outlet mall shopping.
This wooden walkway was pretty fun at Ha Ha Tonka. It went along part of the river then winded its way back up the hillside.

The trails were pretty dead but we managed to find this lone tree hanging on.
HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY TOREE!! Toree loved her first cake! She actually liked the strawberries and bananas the best (we taught her well!) but she still dug right in.

She wasn't really getting too messy so Ryan decided to say the magic words "peek-a-boo" and it worked. Poor girl almost got her eye ball.

We found these adorable wooden puzzles at Ozarkland and decided they would make a good birthday present. They were a big hit. This is after we hosed her down.
Her official birthday party is Saturday so if you are in the mood for some yummy cupcakes come on over! Cupcake bar from 5-7 p.m.
