This week our thoughts and prayers go out to two friends that we know here in KC. One of them is a medical student with Ryan whose husband passed away from a boating accident this last Saturday and someone else in our townhouses has lost a close family member as well. It seems that we can be called from this life at anytime and there is no way to be ready. We are so grateful for every day that we have on this earth with our family and friends. Unfortunatly we take it for granted all too often. We hope that you all know that we are grateful for you and please take some time to tell your friends and family you love them too!

I agree with you, I think that we sometimes take our relationships for granted! Isn't it crazy how close to home it hits when you see other families going through trials? Anyway, thanks for your post and reminding us all to express our love for one another!

Just hearing about these past deaths really has pulled on my heart strings. It makes me more thankful for each day.
We have had 2 friends pass away this past week also and it really had made us think twice about how we live our lives day to day and how we should be more expressive in our feelings towards others.
